Our Mission Statement

We (Sarah and I) have been great friends since we met during our freshman year in college. We have a long-standing tradition, starting in her first dorm room, and continuing into our apartment and beyond, of watching movies through the wee morning hours. We usually attempt to watch good ones, but every so often, we land on a bomb.

Although we have very different collections, we usually agree when we encounter these failures. That being said, some aren't as bad as everyone says they are.

The goal of this project is to determine just how bad a bomb really is, and see if we can find any redeeming qualities. We are searching for diamonds in the rough. Here is our scale, which is on a curve because we're comparing bad movies to each other, and not to good ones:

A (vindicated, not actually a bad movie)
B (entertaining, or so bad, it's good)
C (generically bad)
D (atrocious, or worse than most)
F (WTF? Everyone who greenlit this movie should be slapped)

We may, through the course of this project, waste hours of our lives that we'll never get back. It may turn out that we're just masochists, putting ourselves through awful cinema in the name of sheer, morbid curiosity. Then again, we may find ourselves surprised. Stay tuned!
